New York City is about to put in place a limit on the amount a sugary drink you can have per container to 16 oz.  

The reasoning is that these drinks are a cause of obesity.  Of course they are PART of obesity but they are not the sole cause.

What’s even worse is that this will drive people to drink diet soda which contains aspartame - which is a known poison.

So NYC would rather you die than drink a 32 oz bottle of soda - brilliant!

Why did the FDA approve aspartame?  They didn’t - the FDA was going to reject it and Donald Rumsfeld overruled them and approved it.  How do I know - not only is the information all over the internet - I know the guy who headed the FDA panel on the study of Aspartame - he says it’s poison.

A new article just out says that prisoners at Guantanamo Bay were forced to listen to Sesame Street songs over and over as a form of torture.

Can you imagine hearing it’s a small world after all for days or weeks on end?

At first when I saw the article about the man that was eating another guys face I thought of Zombies.

Why eat the face?  I makes little sense - Zombies usually like brains.  If this is a new kind of Zombie then why didn’t it go for easier body parts.  The face is hardly the meatiest part of a human.

Then I read this very disturbing article in Gawker linking a whole bunch of events together to prove it has started.  Start boarding up your doors - and don’e let anyone close enough to bite you!

And yet another study - a much larger one this time, finds that people who watch Fox are basically dumb.

I guess you have to question whether they are dumb for watching FOX or if FOX makes them dumb… a chicken and the egg question.

I suspect it’s both.

Next time your talking politics with someone ask them if they watch FOX news.  If they say yes, then just walk away.

Interestingly, NPR listeners were the most informed (but they are all dorks so we probably never see them leave their parents basement) - and then very closely after that people who watch the Daily Show with Jon Stewart were the most informed.  

Yeah, it’s come to an intelligent comedian to get us our news - we should all be proud.

According to this Pastor if we put them behind electrified fences they will die out because they won’t reproduce.

I have some logical problems with this proposal…

1) Why do the fences have to be electrified?  The last time I checked there were no bionic homosexuals who can hop over regular fences.  If there are secret cabals of bionic homosexuals let us know - it would be too cool!

2) Homosexuality is not a disease… putting them in camps won’t stop people from being homosexual.

3) Wouldn’t it be much cheaper to put intolerant pastors into camps?  There is no question they would die out much faster and it would benefit the entire population.

In the most bizarre news of the day Turkey villagers thought a colorful bird was an Israeli Spy.  The bird had a band with the name Israel on it and the villagers thought the birds nasal passages were too large and probably contained a microchip for spying.

After Turkey’s counterterrorism unit got involved in the case it was determined the bird was not a spy, but just a dead bird.

The ankle bracelet was just intended to track migratory bird patterns in Israel.

Finally we have found a country that is more paranoid about terrorism than the US.

Great, after years and years of taking everything from Niacin to Omega 3 Fish Oil they now say that high HDL might be completely irrelevant to your risk of a heart attack.

Do you know how bad the burps are from Omega 3 Fish Oil?  It’s like you ate salmon last week and are still belching the taste and smell up.

I stopped taking that stuff a while ago but it still sits in my medicine cabinet - now I can just throw it out.

Then I’m going to eat a dozen donuts just on my personal theory that it will lower my risk of strokes.

Isn’t there something in whatever version of the Bible they use that says they shouldn’t sue people?  I believe it’s called greed or avarice…If a church wants to shut you up wouldn’t they sue to enjoin you from speaking about the church - where does the money come in?

The last thing you expect is for a negative Google Review for a church to get you sued.  In fact I don’t know anyone who’s been sued for a negative Google review of anything.

I didn’t know Churches were even on Google reviews… Maybe they aren’t - maybe just cults - but what do I know.

An 18 month old baby was pulled off a JetBlue flight because it was on the no fly list. For once the TSA wasn’t the issue it was JetBlue.

Aside from the opinion most people have that children that young should all be on the no fly list this is totally ridiculous.

What kind of MORON would take a family off a flight because an 18 month old was on the no fly list?

I wonder if they checked the diaper.
